Ginuwine at The New Daisy

 

 So a model friend of mine informs me that she`s working at The New Daisy Theater  on +Beale Street  in Memphis, Tennessee and says "Hey if there`s ever a show and you want to attend and take pics just call me up and let me know" And I have to admit, the thought is both exciting and a little intimidating  not only because of the opportunity too shoot major performers and acts, but I also dont want to put myself into a position where I`m pestering a friend......But when I found out that RnB singer +Ginuwine Lumpkin  was performing, I really didn`t want to pass up on the chance to expand my portfolio with shots of this artist

 A co-worker asked me what was I doing for the weekend and I was like "Ohhhhh I may be shooting Ginuwine  this weekend." and her response was "GINUWINE GINUWINE?" and I was like "Yeah but I`m not certain as of yet but I`ll let you know"  So after a couple of text messages back and forth I was told the offer was still open and I was good to go.

I made sure I had all my gear together which were my +Nikon USA  D3000 and D40.I shot with a series of lenses which varied from my +Nikon USA Kit 18-55mm,  35-135mm, 55-200mm and my 70-210mm. I shot everything on ISO 800 and my shudder speeds ranged from 1/6th to 1/50th of a second  and I varied using my Yonguno 560II flash between shots.

Happy New Year

Soooo hello and New Years wishes to everyone!!! I hope you had a nice 2015 and that this new one be just as wonderful. So far I can`t complain about my first week of the new year considering I received and email from +Pinup Alternative informing me that I (or a couple of my photos) are featured in the "Mid Century" issue of their magazine
